Beverly Gillam is a Conservative, Christian, mother of four and grandmother to 8 grandchildren (Bebe), who cares and loves immigrants.
Beverly has been an Associate Real Estate Broker scattered over a few years. She lived 11 years in Taiwan and the middle of Mainland China where her husband helped build High Speed Train Systems. They also lived in Hong Kong. She now lives in Franklin, TN.
While living in China she and her husband started a non-profit, JUST FOR ASIA, establishing a medical clinic outside of Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

My Liberal friend and I were able to agree on a way forward for asylum seekers to avoid the “fear” they experienced in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during the contentious ICE enforcement.
Appoint Para-Lawyer Asylum judges to reduce massive backlogs for adjudication of the asylum seeker’s cases. Let the System approve or deny requests in a timely manner. We also believed criminal illegal aliens should be deported to keep our citizens safe.
From my perspective, Immigration should be consistent with our nation’s historical values, welcoming Immigration, including asylum seekers.
Total Immigration reform is broken and needs to be fixed. It causes false asylum claims as the only way to possibly immigrate. It is the single, most rational choice available…risk crossing the border for asylum. The result is mass release into the interior with backlogs and court dates years away with uncertainty of success. Only by Immigration Reform will this process change.
My goal is to start a conversation about Immigration Asylum Reform, by talking in context, about the proposal of adding “Para-Lawyer” judges.
