Philip A. Helmuth

Philip has been licensed as an Enrolled Agent for over 30 years, and he has owned Melco Business & Tax Service for almost as long. Philip began his career in tax services as an employee of Melco Business & Tax Service, which was started by his father, Melvin Helmuth, in 1976. In 1995 Philip purchased the business from his father. The majority of Philip’s clientele is located in San Diego County, but he has clients located across the U.S. and internationally.

In addition to his enrolled agent credential, Philip holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Biola University, and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Bethel Seminary. When he is not working, Philip enjoys running, hiking, biking, reading, and music.
