David N. Hoffer

I received my accounting degree (Bachelor of Business Administration in Public Accounting) from Bernard M Baruch College in 1979 and began working as an auditor with the Office of the State Comptroller (New York), transitioning in 1998 from Management Audit to Information Technology Services. I retired from this position in 2010 after 31 years of service to the State of New York.

My interest in taxes began in 1977 while I was still in college, and I have been involved in income tax preparation since, first part-time, and full-time since 2010.
