Joel F. Hawkins
CPA
Joel Hawkins, a resident of Conway and active member of the community, has 45 years of experience as an accounting professional. Prior to establishing his own practice in Conway, Joel was an associate with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., and expanded his career with a role as a corporate accountant for a multi-state life insurance company. Joel is a 1967 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a BBA degree and a 1968 graduate of the University of Arkansas with an MBA degree.
Brittani N. Garrett
CPA
Brittani Garrett, a native of south Arkansas, came to Conway in 2001 to attend the University of Central Arkansas. She graduated summa cum laude with a BBA degree in 2005 and obtained a Master of Accountancy degree in 2006. After college, Brittani began her career at BKD, a national firm, where she developed a specialty in government and not-for-profit audits. In 2009 Brittani came back to Conway to join Joel and quickly expanded her career to include tax and consulting services for individuals and small business.
Kim M. Cooper
QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor
Kim Cooper is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor and a vital member of the firm since 2001. Kim performs all monthly and quarterly bookkeeping functions including payroll processing and reporting, sales tax reporting, preparation of adjusting journal entries, reconciliation of complex accounts, and compiling monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Kim graduated magna cum laude from Arkansas Tech University with a BBA degree in 1996. She receives annual continuing education in compilation and review, sales tax, QuickBooks and other areas as needed to stay current on technical issues.
